With a catalogue that now includes the studio album "Encrypted Valentines" and the live set "Philophobia Undressed", the Scottish group draw on three decades of sharp, intimate songwriting and electronic-inflected textures. Following recent headline appearances at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds and Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms, this gig places their brooding narratives and electronic undercurrents in the close confines of the Georgian Theatre, highlighting both the band’s quieter slowcore leanings and their more expansive indie rock side.
