Shiny New Model Festival lands at Junction 1 in Cambridge on 10 October 2026 with Squid leading a bill steeped in art punk, experimental rock, krautrock and post-punk. Drawing on the angular intensity and dynamic arrangements heard across releases like “O Monolith”, the Brighton band bring their boundary-pushing sound to a festival setting, folding in motorik rhythms and off-kilter textures. Art School Girlfriend joins the line-up, adding another perspective to a show built around forward-thinking rock.
