The Flaming Lips bring their alternative rock, experimental rock, indie rock and neo-psychedelia to Kelvingrove Bandstand in Glasgow on 27 July 2026. Formed in Oklahoma City in 1983, the group’s catalogue runs from "The Terror" and "Oczy Mlody" to "King’s Mouth: Music and Songs" and "American Head", with "Where the Viaduct Looms" extending their studio run into the 2020s. Their visually driven live show has grown alongside appearances at Somerset House, The Piece Hall, DEPOT and a principal support slot for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds at Preston Park, bringing that large-scale experience to this open-air Glasgow performance.
