Skating Polly bring their grunge-charged punk rock and indie pop songwriting to The Hug and Pint in Glasgow on 21 October 2026. Formed in 2009, the band have built a catalogue that shifts between abrasive riffs and sharply melodic hooks, a contrast heard across releases including their 2023 album “Chaos County Line”. Live, that mix of raw distortion and tuneful choruses underpins songs such as “Beautiful Stranger” and “Flyer”. This Glasgow gig places their US alternative sound in an intimate room, highlighting both the heavier punk edge and the more reflective indie pop side of their set.
