Dutch group Focus bring their progressive rock, art rock, classic rock and jazz fusion sound to The Fleece in Bristol on 18 April 2027. Drawing on decades of material, including later albums such as “Focus 11” and “Focus X”, the band’s set showcases intricate arrangements alongside direct, melodic passages. Their blend of virtuoso playing and tightly structured songs suits The Fleece’s close-up atmosphere, highlighting the rhythmic shifts and extended instrumental sections at the heart of their music. This Bristol gig offers a concentrated look at Focus’s long-running exploration of progressive rock and jazz fusion on stage.
