The Fabulous Thunderbirds bring their blues, blues rock and electric Texas blues to The Assembly in Leamington Spa on 6 February 2027. Led by Kim Wilson, the band draw on material from across their catalogue, including recent album “Struck Down”, with its nine new tracks co-written by Wilson and Steve Strongman and a cover of Memphis Minnie’s “Nothin’ in Ramblin’.” Expect tightly wired grooves and amplified Texas tones shaped over decades, with Wilson’s harmonica and vocals at the core of the performance. This headline gig places classic and modern blues side by side in an intimate Midlands setting.
