The Flaming Lips headline The Piece Hall in Halifax on 23 July 2026, bringing their alternative and experimental rock with a heavy neo-psychedelic streak to the open-air setting. Drawing on albums such as "American Head" and "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots", their show leans into expansive, mind-bending arrangements and vivid production. They are joined by The Beta Band, whose mix of alternative rock, folktronica and indietronica adds layered electronics and off-kilter rhythms to the bill.
