The Burt Bacharach Songbook comes to The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on 6 October 2026, with Ed Harcourt joining the bill. Known for alternative and indie rock as well as detailed singer-songwriter work, Harcourt brings his own catalogues such as “Lustre”, “Back Into The Woods”, “Furnaces” and “Monochrome To Colour” to a night centred on Burt Bacharach’s classic songwriting. With experience touring alongside acts like Starsailor and Afghan Whigs, Harcourt’s presence adds a modern alternative rock and indie edge to the show, framing Bacharach’s material through the lens of a contemporary British songwriter.
