Alex James brings his Britpop Classical show to The Piece Hall in Halifax on 19 July 2026, folding alternative rock, britpop and electronic touches into a single performance. Known for his work with Blur and Fat Les, he draws on that era’s melodic basslines and hooks while reworking material in a setting that leans into electronica as much as guitar-driven rock. The open-air courtyard setting of The Piece Hall gives this standalone date a different feel from his earlier 2026 indoor tour stops, framing his catalogue and influences against one of West Yorkshire’s most atmospheric backdrops.
