Big Special bring their charged live show to Crookes Social Club in Sheffield on 3 December 2026, headlining a bill that also features Glasgow outfit The Joy Hotel. Emerging from Birmingham, Big Special arrive with material from their album "Postindustrial Hometown Blues" alongside later singles including "BUTCHER'S BIN" and "STAY DOWN, LAZARUS," with more new work building towards "NATIONAL AVERAGE." The Joy Hotel join them with songs such as "Killing Time" and "Jeremiah," adding their own atmospheric edge. It is a compact two-band line-up that foregrounds songwriting and intensity in a close-up club setting.
