Scott Lavene brings his off-kilter take on punk to Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth on 17 September 2026. The London-based songwriter is known for sharp, storytelling tracks such as “Broke,” “Disneyland In Dagenham,” and “Waitrose Has Run Out of Lobsters,” folding wry humour into portraits of everyday British life. Drawing on material from releases including “Disneyland In Dagenham” and “Cars, Buses, Bedsits and Shops,” his show leans into themes of urban existence and working-class realities. After dates at venues like The Trades Club and The Bodega, this Portsmouth gig continues his run of intimate, narrative-driven punk performances.
