Bywater Call bring their roots rock and southern soul sound to The Crescent in York on 2 February 2027. The Toronto seven-piece, led by vocalist Meghan Parnell with guitarist Dave Barnes and a full rhythm and horn section, draw on influences from The Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Otis Redding. Their recent material, including "Shepherd" and the live EP "Sunshine - Live In 2024", shows the mix of raw ballads and fiery, improvised jams that shapes their performances. This York show offers a focused look at their blend of gritty vocals, keys, trumpet and tenor sax in an intimate setting.
