Inspiral Carpets bring their organ-driven britpop and madchester sound to The Sub Rooms in Stroud on 10 September 2026. Emerging from the late-80s Manchester alternative scene, the band fuse indie pop hooks with indie rock weight, with their catalogue collected on the 2023 release "The Complete Singles". Recent dates at venues such as Albert Hall in Manchester, The Forum in Tunbridge Wells and O2 Academy Oxford underline their continued live presence. This Stroud gig finds them in headline mode at an intimate room, giving their back catalogue and newer material a close-up airing.
