Makeshift Art Bar bring their post-punk sound to Cluny 2 in Newcastle on 12 October 2026. Formed in 2022, the band have built a reputation for raw instrumentation and introspective songwriting, captured on their 2025 EP "Lackluster Writing Makes Fundamental Reading" with tracks like "Bedwetter", "Birthday Party", "Notice Me" and "Sonic Shelf". Their previous live dates have included a support slot for GURRIERS at Limelight in Belfast, and this Newcastle headline performance gives their evolving setlist room to stretch in an intimate setting.
