Co-op Live hosts Billy Ocean’s 50 Years of Red Light Spells Danger tour on 30 October 2027, bringing a pop and soul-heavy bill to Manchester. Ocean headlines with a set that folds contemporary R&B, dance-pop, disco and pop into arena-sized arrangements. Tony Hadley supports with blue-eyed soul, funk and jazz-tinged material, while Heather Small provides a contrasting burst of dance-pop, house and soul. Coming off the Bournemouth date, this show keeps the tour’s emphasis on big choruses, rhythmic basslines and glossy production that links classic pop craftsmanship with more modern, club-informed textures.
