Smote bring their ambient, drone and folk-psychedelic sound to Sidney & Matilda on 4 March 2027 for an immersive live show. Led by Daniel Foggin, the project blends long-form experimental drone with folk-rooted motifs, drawing on the textures explored across LPs like “Genog” and “A Grand Stream”. With recent material including tracks such as “Sitting Stone, Pt. 2” and “The Opinion of the Lamb, Pt. 1”, this performance leans into expansive, atmospheric pieces suited to the venue’s intimate space. The gig highlights Smote’s experimental approach within ambient and psychedelic folk traditions in a focused setting.
