The Fretboard Odyssey kicks off at Rock City on 2 December 2026 with Cory Wong leading a line-up steeped in funk, jazz and R&B. Drawing on albums like “The Lucky One” and “Power Station”, Wong’s rhythm guitar anchors a band that leans into tight grooves and smooth jazz inflections. Bassist Henrik Linder and keyboardist Kevin Gastonguay lock in around him, while Mark Lettieri brings instrumental and jazz fusion firepower to the guitar front line. Ariel Posen and Louis Cato round out a cast of collaborators, opening the run with a funk-focused, improvisation-friendly show in Nottingham.
