James Lavelle takes his Living In My Headphones show to Social Hull on 28 May 2027, leaning into the breakbeat and electronic sound that has defined much of his work. Known for threading esoteric rhythms through forward-facing electronic textures, he uses the DJ booth as a place to blur soundtrack atmospheres, club pressure and leftfield selections. Across the night, expect Lavelle to move fluidly between heavy breakbeat cuts and more expansive electronic passages, reflecting the approach heard on releases like “Trust (Original Series Soundtrack)” while tailoring the flow to Social’s intimate setting in the United Kingdom.
