The Rifles: 20th Anniversary Celebration and More at O2 Academy Oxford

Sunday, November 15, 2026 - O2 Academy, Oxford

• Jake Bugg

Jake Bugg’s 15 November 2026 appearance at O2 Academy Oxford folds alternative rock, blues and folk into the wider November series. Drawing on recent releases such as “A Modern Day Distraction”, the EP “I Wrote The Book”, “The Happiest Man In The World” and “Saturday Night Sunday Morning”, he has a catalogue that slips easily between indie folk intimacy and plugged-in guitar work. The show leans into his raw vocal delivery and narrative songwriting, with blues-inflected progressions sitting alongside more stripped-back acoustic moments. It adds a reflective, songwriter-driven strand to a run otherwise dominated by heavier rock line-ups.
