The D.A.P. Christmas Party lands at Barfly on 15 December 2026, with Jude Moore leading a packed bill. Ethan Holt and Harry Mold add guitar-driven energy, framing the live debut here of Murphy’s classical, electronic and post-rock score work under his MURPHY moniker. Known for cinematic pieces like “Adagio in D Minor” and “28 Theme”, Murphy brings his film music into a more intimate setting, drawing on orchestral depth and ambient synth soundscapes. With rock-leaning songwriters set against an artist rooted in contemporary soundtrack composition, this Barfly show hinges on the contrast between stage-ready songs and widescreen instrumentals.
