Live Music at O2 Academy2 Islington

Saturday, January 9, 2027 - O2 Academy2 Islington, London

• Absolute Bowie

Absolute Bowie bring their detailed David Bowie tribute to O2 Academy2 Islington on 9 January 2027, opening the venue’s 2027 stretch of the run. Known for shows that span eras from glam rock to later art-pop, they arrive following headline appearances at spaces such as O2 City Hall Newcastle and Concorde 2 in Brighton. In the intimate Academy2 room, Bowie’s catalogue takes on a club-scale immediacy, with the band’s attention to musical detail foregrounded. Coming after December’s mix of progressive metal, post-punk and indie tributes, this performance shifts the focus firmly onto classic rock reinvention.
