Live Music at O2 Academy2 Islington
Saturday, December 19, 2026 - O2 Academy2 Islington, London
On 19 December 2026, O2 Academy2 Islington turns towards contemporary indie with The 9075 joined by Fontaines Cd. Fontaines Cd, a UK tribute to their Dublin namesakes, arrive off the back of headline sets at venues including Boilerroom in Guildford and NETWORK 2 in Sheffield, plus support slots alongside other major tribute acts. Paired with The 9075, they give Academy2 a night centred on sharp, modern guitar lines rather than classic rock nostalgia. Slotted between the darker post-punk of The Cureheads and the January run of Bowie and Chris Stapleton tributes, this show anchors the indie corner of the series.
