Live Music at O2 Academy2 Islington

Friday, December 18, 2026 - O2 Academy2 Islington, London

• The Cureheads
• Siouxsie and the Budgies

The Cureheads return to O2 Academy2 Islington on 18 December 2026, headlining a post-punk and gothic-flavoured bill with Siouxsie And The Budgies in support. The Cureheads, long-running specialists in The Cure’s catalogue, use the close confines of Academy2 to echo the feel of the band’s club-era shows. Siouxsie And The Budgies extend the thread, drawing on the darker, art-rock end of the alternative spectrum. Dropping straight after Threshold’s progressive metal and Motorheadache’s hard rock blast, this performance steers the winter series towards shadowier textures while keeping guitars firmly at the centre.
