The Wedding Present bring their 35th anniversary "Seamonsters" show to QMU in October 2026, closing a two-date run that begins at Canvas the previous night. Known for a sound rooted in c86, indie rock and post-punk, the group use this performance to revisit the intensity and detail of "Seamonsters" alongside selections from across their extensive discography, including recent work such as "24 Songs". At QMU they lean into the dynamic contrasts and serrated guitar lines that define both the album and their later output, framing the record within a broader alternative rock set.
