The Wedding Present CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF 'SEAMONSTERS'

Wednesday, October 21, 2026 - Canvas, Dundee

The Wedding Present launch their 35th anniversary celebration of "Seamonsters" at Canvas in October 2026, bringing their distinctive mix of c86, indie rock and post-punk to the Dundee venue. With a catalogue that stretches from early underground releases through to "24 Songs" and the forthcoming "40", the band draw on decades of material while focusing this show around their 1991 landmark. As the opening night of a short run that continues at QMU the following day, this performance places "Seamonsters" at the centre of a tightly honed set of sharp, melodic songwriting and tense, driving guitars.
