The Highstool Prophets

Friday, December 4, 2026 - Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow

The Highstool Prophets bring their Irish folk repertoire to Barrowland Ballroom on 4 December 2026, drawing on traditional material and contemporary favourites. Formed in Cavan in 2013, the group are known for lively takes on songs such as "Galway Girl", "Whisky in the Jar" and "The Irish Rover", alongside ballads including "Grace" and "Joe McDonnell". Their album "Live at The Town Hall, Cavan" captures the energy of their shows, and this Glasgow date extends that live tradition to a classic UK venue for a performance rooted firmly in Irish folk.
