The Sharon Shannon Big Band brings a heavyweight Irish folk focus to O2 Academy Glasgow on 27 January 2027, with a line-up stacked with close collaborators. Sharon Shannon leads the show, drawing on her Irish folk catalogue with full-band arrangements, while Bob Geldof adds classic rock, folk rock and pop rock to the mix. Mundy’s rock background slots alongside Camille O’Sullivan’s cabaret, folk, pop and rock, creating a bill that moves between storytelling, trad-rooted tunes and amplified anthems. Liam Ó Maonlaí and The Guzzlers complete a guest-heavy performance built around shared stages and intersecting styles.
