• Bess Atwell

On 21 April 2027, Bess Atwell brings her folk, folk rock and indie folk songs to Leeds Irish Centre. With “Light Sleeper”, singles like “Fan Favourite” and “Where I Left Us”, and earlier material to draw from, her set balances intimate storytelling with full-band arrangements. Arriving between Spiritualized’s orchestral-leaning show and June Mcdoom’s atmospheric Brudenell date, this gig tilts the run towards acoustic guitars, close harmonies and carefully arranged dynamics. Leeds Irish Centre’s hall gives scope for both hushed solo moments and more expansive, amplified passages across a set that traces several phases of her catalogue.
