Co-op Live hosts Suede and Manic Street Preachers on 31 October, as the joint arena tour hits Manchester. Suede’s alternative rock and art rock flair, laced with britpop and glam rock, collides with Manic Street Preachers’ alternative rock foundation and glam punk streak, making this date a clear draw for guitar-led British rock. Coming straight after the Leeds stop, the Halloween show finds the bands deep in the run, with setlists sharpened for a large Manchester crowd. Expect a sweep through different eras of both catalogues, framed by big choruses and saturated guitars built for an arena.
