THE FERRET 20TH BIRTHDAY WEEKENDER and October & November Listings

Thursday, November 19, 2026 - The Ferret, Preston

• The Turbans

On 19 November 2026, The Ferret welcomes international collective The Turbans, injecting the listings with a border-crossing mix of influences. Drawing from traditions across India, Iran, North Africa, Andalusia and the Balkans, their sets fold together global rhythms and melodies, as heard on tracks like “Aman”, “Boli Boli” and “Cherno Moré”. This headline date sits within a wider UK run that includes The Jam Jar and Jamboree, and it gives the Preston venue’s birthday season one of its most outward-looking shows. It contrasts sharply with the punk, metal and indie-heavy nights around it.
