THE FERRET 20TH BIRTHDAY WEEKENDER and October & November Listings

Wednesday, November 4, 2026 - The Ferret, Preston

Gothic rock pioneers The March Violets bring their shadowy, post-punk-inflected sound to The Ferret on 4 November 2026. With roots stretching back to the early 1980s and releases such as “Play Loud Play Purple: Complete Singles 1982-85 & More” and 2024’s “Crocodile Promises”, they carry a substantial catalogue into the intimate Preston venue. Recent headline runs at spots like The Bodega and The Horn show their continued pull, and this date drops that legacy into the midst of The Ferret’s birthday season. It marks one of the run’s clearest nods to classic gothic rock.
