O2 Academy Islington Gig Season
Monday, November 9, 2026 - O2 Academy Islington, London
Wolves In The Throne Room bring their atmospheric black metal to O2 Academy Islington on 9 November 2026, one of the defining metal nights of the O2 Academy Islington Gig Season. Drawing on a catalogue that includes “Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge” and tracks like “Initiates of the White Hart”, the Olympia band’s sound pushes beyond straightforward black metal into layered, immersive territory. Their show follows the nu metal tribute event Forever Nu and the mixed tribute date featuring Just Radiohead, carving out a darker, more expansive metal space before the season moves on to Power Of Dreams and Antarctic Monkeys.
