The Ferret marks its 20th Birthday Weekender with a gig from Jonny Rockers Sound System on 2 October 2026. The Preston venue uses the milestone to spotlight the long-running sound system, bringing their selector-led energy into an intimate room. With the focus firmly on Jonny Rockers Sound System throughout the night, the show leans into the venue’s rootsy, grassroots identity and history of loud, physical sound. Regulars and new arrivals alike can hear how The Ferret’s compact space and direct atmosphere shape the system’s heavy, communal approach to playing records.
