What's On October at Albert Hall Manchester
Thursday, October 22, 2026 - Albert Hall, Manchester
Meera Syal: Vigilauntie! arrives at Albert Hall on 22 October 2026, shifting the October run back towards spoken-word and comedy after Cabaret Voltaire’s electronic show. The performance draws on Syal’s experience as a writer and actor, using the hall’s theatre-style layout to frame character work and storytelling. Positioned ahead of The Coral’s folk rock and indie pop date, the evening underlines how the venue’s October programme moves between bands and solo narrative-led shows. The Vigilauntie! set adds a different texture to a month that also includes alternative rock, folk, jazz and soul gigs.
