What's On October at Albert Hall Manchester

Friday, October 16, 2026 - Albert Hall, Manchester

• The Mountain Goats

The Mountain Goats bring their folk rock and indie folk songbook to Albert Hall on 16 October 2026, midway through the October run. John Darnielle leads the group through material that bridges early lo-fi recordings and later full-band albums such as “Dark in Here”, “Getting Into Knives” and “Goths”. This Manchester date sits alongside shows at Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and two nights at Hackney Church in London, all joined by Craig Finn & The Band of Forgiveness elsewhere on the tour. At Albert Hall, the focus falls on narrative-rich lyrics and arrangements that suit the room’s resonance.
