October Live Listings at Concorde 2, Brighton
Tuesday, October 13, 2026 - Concorde 2, Brighton
Jake Xerxes Fussell brings his Americana guitar work and songcraft to Concorde 2 on 13 October 2026, continuing the roots-focused thread opened by Beth Orton the previous night. Known for reinterpreting traditional songs on releases like “Good and Green Again” and the live set “At Brooklyn Folk Festival, 2019”, he shifts the Brighton venue’s October tone towards intimate storytelling and detailed picking. Slotted between electronically-tinged folk and the highlife and electro-funk of Ibibio Sound Machine, this show underlines the range of the month’s programming, placing American roots music in a club more often associated with rock.
