Rock City Nottingham welcomes Palace on 11 May, following the Glasgow stop at Barrowland Ballroom. The gig showcases the band’s interplay between indie pop melodies, alternative pop ambience and blues rock guitar work, with “Ultrasound” providing much of the source material. Live approaches developed on “Live From EartH Hackney” shape the dynamics, while singles “Bleach” and “Greyhound” underline their recent direction. Coming just before O2 Guildhall Southampton and the Alexandra Palace finale, this Rock City performance marks the start of the closing stretch of the UK leg.
