Simply Red Summer Funk 27

Friday, August 21, 2026 - Racecourse, Newmarket

Newmarket Racecourse hosts the penultimate Summer Funk 27 date on 21 August 2026, as Simply Red enter the closing weekend of the run. The band’s set draws on blue-eyed soul, pop soul and dance-pop, continuing the thread that has linked the earlier racecourse and park shows. Sitting between Singleton Park and the finale at Cooper Associates County Ground, this performance acts as a bridge into the tour’s closing night. With the schedule running almost daily at this point, Newmarket benefits from a show honed across the preceding August dates.
