Simply Red Summer Funk 27

Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - Castle Park, Colchester

Simply Red arrive at Castle Park in Colchester on 18 August 2026 as Summer Funk 27 moves into another outdoor green space. The band bring their trademark blue-eyed soul and pop soul sound, with dance-pop rhythms and softer rock touches woven through the set. Positioned directly after Scarborough and just before Singleton Park, this date plays a key role in the continuous midweek run that connects the northern and western legs of the tour. Material from "Time" and the lead-in to "Recollections" provides contemporary context alongside long-established favourites.
