On 28 September 2026 Gong bring the Bright Spirit Tour 2026 to Chinnery’s, edging the tour toward its autumn southern swing. The set draws heavily on "Unending Ascending" and "The Universe Also Collapses", combining Canterbury scene‑derived structures with jazz rock pulse and longform progressive and psychedelic rock. Chinnery’s offers a direct line between stage and crowd, highlighting the band’s space‑rock colours and improvisational interplay. Following Kirkgate Community Centre and preceding The Wedgewood Rooms, this show forms part of a closing sequence of club dates ahead of the London finale.
