The performance draws on the progressive and psychedelic rock focus of "Unending Ascending" and "The Universe Also Collapses", underpinned by Canterbury scene harmony and jazz rock rhythm. Following Stereo and preceding The Belfast Empire Music Hall, this date keeps the band close to audiences, allowing their space‑rock textures and improvisational sections to breathe. It forms part of a run that gradually arcs westward before the tour later heads south again.
