On 2 July 2026 Gong roll the Bright Spirit Tour 2026 into The Fleece, the second date of their UK run. The band’s current line‑up continues the project’s Canterbury scene legacy, folding jazz rock rhythms into expansive progressive and psychedelic rock passages. Following the tour opener at The Bullingdon, this club show lets the group refine material from "Unending Ascending" and "The Universe Also Collapses" in a room built for loud, detailed sound. It is a chance to hear their space‑oriented arrangements up close before the tour widens out to arts centres and festivals.
