As the opening stop of a 15-date stretch that later reaches Reading and Leeds Festival and venues across Britain, this show sets the tone for the pairing. With both bands sharing the bill from start to finish, the Whelan's date gives an early glimpse of how the setlists and pacing of the tour will shape up before they cross to Rock'n Roll Circus in Sheffield two days later.
