Big Special close the LOUT Gigs in Brighton series with a headline show at Chalk on 9 December 2026. Following Tigercub’s November date in the same venue, this finale brings the 13-stop run, which began at The Hope & Ruin in early September, back to the seafront room that has anchored much of the schedule. With Big Special’s material such as "Postindustrial Hometown Blues" and "BLACK COUNTRY GOTHIC" to draw from, the gig rounds off a programme that has moved through alternative rock, punk, reggae, ska, metal and crossover sounds across Brighton’s key venues.
