Downward launch the LOUT Gigs in Brighton run with an intimate show at The Hope & Ruin on 5 September 2026. As the opening stop of a 13-date series stretching through to December, this gig sets the tone before the run moves on to Komedia later in the month. With the focus firmly on Downward across the bill, it is a chance to catch the band up close at one of the city’s staple grassroots rooms, as the wider series builds towards larger alternative, punk and heavy shows elsewhere in Brighton.
