For Those I Love brings his emotionally charged spoken word and electronic songwriting back to Dublin with a headline gig at Vicar Street on 11 December 2026. Drawing from his self-titled 2021 album and later work including the 2025 release "Carving the Stone", David Balfe’s project is known for its intimate narratives and dense, atmospheric production. Joining the bill are fellow Dublin outfit Black Nylon, whose live shows have taken them from Whelan's to major UK stages in support slots. This pairing sets up a hometown performance that connects two distinct strands of contemporary Irish music on one stage.
