Squeeze bring the Tried, Tested and Trixies: 53 Years of Classic Songwriting tour to Guildhall on 3 December 2026, joined by Billy Bragg. Squeeze’s new wave, pop and rock songs, including more recent material from "Trixies", are paired with Bragg’s alternative rock, folk and anti-folk catalogue, as heard on "The Roaring Forty | 1983–2023". Sitting between Plymouth Arena and International Centre, this late-run show maintains the tour’s emphasis on lyrics and arrangement over production gimmicks. Across the evening, tightly structured band performances and stark solo protest songs share the stage, tracing two distinct but complementary strands of British songwriting history.
