The Weeknd closes his August 2026 After Hours Til Dawn residency at Wembley Stadium on 19 August, again joined by Playboi Carti. This final show in the five-date run puts his alternative and contemporary R&B catalogue centre stage, underpinned by dance-pop drive and dreamlike hypnagogic pop textures. Playboi Carti’s opening set brings cloud rap, hip hop, plugg and rage to the same vast space, adding a darker, more frenetic counterpoint. As the closing night, the performance rounds off a sequence of Wembley gigs built on the collision of R&B futurism and cutting-edge rap.
