Haken in a fever dream

Haken bring their “in a fever dream” tour to The Trinity Centre on 5 February, showcasing a set steeped in progressive metal and progressive rock. Ihlo again take the middle slot, folding djent accents, heavy metal power and progressive metal scope into tightly constructed songs. Opening the evening, Black Orchid Empire draw on alternative metal, alternative rock and progressive rock, delivering a guitar-driven sound that bridges melody and aggression. With Academy 2 behind them and O2 Institute 2 up next, this Bristol date continues a run built around contemporary prog metal, djent intricacy and alternative heaviness.
