Haken open their February 2027 “in a fever dream” run at Limelight 2 on 1 February, bringing their progressive metal and progressive rock to Belfast. They are joined by London outfit Ihlo, whose djent-edged progressive metal and heavy metal sound adds a technical, modern weight to the bill. Black Orchid Empire complete the line-up with a punch of alternative metal, alternative rock and progressive rock, threading melodic hooks through dense riffing. As the first stop before The Academy, this show sets the tone for a week that leans hard into contemporary prog, djent complexity and hook-driven alternative rock.
